For Democracy

Grandparents for Democracy is a group of volunteers founded in 2018 to fight the existential threat that MAGA Republicans pose to our democracy. Our members, now in 25 states, support candidates for national office who will defend democratic principles and institutions, protect women’s rights, preserve our environment, and protect our young.
Above right is a poster for our highly acclaimed movie “The Conversation.” It dramatically demonstrates the importance of grandparents speaking to their grandchildren about civic engagement and voting.
